It sure looks pretty. Pretty useless. I can’t believe this was designed by someone who has ever worked with a timecode generating/reading slate, or worked in a real production environment for that matter. Instead of frames (SMPTE timecode), they used milliseconds as a base. What good is a millisecond count when you are trying to edit video or film with a 29.97, 25, or 24 base? Also how can an iPhone transmit the timecode it generates to other devices (camera, audio recorder, etc.). It can’t even read timecode another device has generated. It’s a nice device if you want to play at filmmaker, or make yourself look official in front of inexperienced clients who don’t know any better, but this is app is definitely not ready for prime time.
